New Furniture Collection And Brochure Launch

"Wow" is all we can say about this week. It has been a real whirl wind, what with Decorex and the launch of our new brochure, if that wasn’t enough we showcased our new furniture collection as well. I’m so pleased with how the brochure has all come together so nicely. The furniture collection was incorporated into our new look showroom and really has added another twist.

What better way to celebrate all this than with a party, and party we did for both clients and press. A truly beautiful day was had by all. We love to see everyone here in the showroom, mixing with each other.

The new brochure is in the showrooms now, hot off the press and is full of inspiration.

Paris/Shanghai/Taipei

We have been on a whistle stop tour the last couple of weeks from Paris to Shanghai. It was wonderful to meet with some of the people we work with at the Maison & Objet Paris show and spend time developing new product with them. Soaking up the whole creative buzz that is at the show is always so inspiring, It’s amazing how ideas can snowball from the things around you.

We hopped on a plane from Paris to Shanghai and spent the flight sketching up ideas and brainstorming items we are developing. Arriving in Shanghai is always such a blast with the hustle and bustle of such a wonderful colourful culture. We popped into the furniture expo to see what was on offer and see if we could forge new relationships with other creative’s. I love cities that fuse together historical architecture with futuristic design, I think it stems from our style of mixing classic and contemporary.

Our next stop was Taipei for a meeting to look at an incredible new project that will be outstanding in its field. We love nothing more than getting our teeth into something on this scale as we can truly deliver something remarkable. To work with clients like this is such a privilege our creative team loves nothing more than a challenge and bringing the Louise Bradley style to distant shores.

Thinking outside the box...

Earlier this week we finally got the chance to change around the showrooms, as things have been really busy and it has been tough fitting everything in. When you get all the furniture items and mirrors etc into the room you step back and start the tweaking, adding the all important accessories. It’s this that adds the layers to a scheme. Injecting personality, whilst having fun mixing and matching styles. I love playing with texture, form and colour for dramatic effect. Matching and mismatching objects gives the room character and creates a unique environment.

We are really lucky that we have wonderful collections at hand to play with and create a vision.

The pieces we love at the moment are “BOXES” - we have a variety in different materials, sizes and colours. A grouping set on a console, or a collection placed on a chaise at the base of a bed, adds interest to the room. The textures of shagreen and the rawness of stone boxes with intricate quilted designs carved into them. The bonus is they are practical too and make the perfect home for treasures, be it jewellery, watches or keep sakes. I have been so inspired I took a collection to the country this weekend and added beautiful shagreen ones in the drawing room and penshell ones in the study.
