We had a wonderful weekend in Chantilly, France where we visited ‘The Living Horse Museum’, a remarkable 18th Century architectural masterpiece dedicated to equine art and culture. Renowned as one of the most beautiful stables in the World, it was built by the Seventh Prince of Conde as he believed, after death, he would be reincarnated as a horse and wanted stables that were worthy of his rank. We were overwhelmed by the grandeur of the magnificent Courtyards and the stunning Grand Stables housed beneath an impressive 28 metre high dome. A truly amazing building filled with history.
